About this Event
Music for a Cure will bring world-renowned pianist Andrei Zimbalist and Josephine Chow (special appearance) to Austin for a one-night benefit concert featuring masterpieces by Bach, Mozart, Schumann, Chopin, Ravel, and Tchaikovsky.
Proceeds support the Rare Disease Program at Friends of Be An Angel (FOBA), a U.S. 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to connect rare disease families with world-class researchers and hospitals so children can reach novel, lifesaving therapies.
“Music can move people—and, in this case, it can move treatment from the lab to a child’s bedside,” said Zina Lara, U.S. fundraiser for FOBA’s Rare Disease Program. “There’s an urgent need to make groundbreaking therapies available and accessible to children who need them most. This concert turns community generosity into a lifesaving journey for those kids.”
FOBA is currently assisting two urgent pediatric cases that require funds for ongoing medical bills not covered by insurance. Event proceeds will help close these gaps on a tight medical timeline.
We need your help today to bring novel treatments to patients in need.

Let's turn one evening of music into a lifesaving journey for children with rare diseases.
