Izzy Wise is a dynamic multi-instrumentalist and DJ, renowned for his eclectic dance music that seamlessly traverses the musical and cultural landscapes of planet earth. With almost two decades of experience, Wise honed his craft in San Francisco, gracing legendary parties like Afrolicious and iconic venues such as The Independent, Monarch, and 1015 Folsom.

His versatility extends to playing bass and horns in various groups, exploring genres as diverse as Turkish, Balkan, Cumbia, Brazilian, Salsa, Funk, and more. His relentless quest for unique rhythms and melodies has taken him to the jungles of Nicaragua and the mythical islands of the Caribbean Sea.When not capturing field recordings or performing live, Wise releases music on esteemed labels like Délicieuse Records, Lips & Rhythm, Mule Musiq, and Cafe Anatolia.

His studio dedication is unwavering, with his original tracks often showcasing a well-blended mix of global dance music, disco, boogie funk, and house. In live performances, Wise incorporates a variety of instruments, infusing his sets with an energetic and hypnotic blend of funky underground ethnomusicology. As the host of the Hi LifeParty, a pop-up global music celebration, he dedicates himself to showcasing the beauty of diverse musical traditions.

In 2025, Izzy Wise continues to push the boundaries, seeking fresh sounds to share with audiences on both late nights and sunlit days. His passion for music and dedication to his craft promise an exciting future filled with innovative and captivating performances

Shannon Sahaja is an embodiment alchemist who feels most at home in the woods, on a dance floor, in warm water or engaged in silly shenanigans. She holds a BFA in Dance from S.U.N.Y Purchase, and has 2 decades of experience as a movement facilitator. She is well known for her loving approach to yoga that was developed while living and teaching at Harbin Hot Springs and through her mentorship with Angela Farmer.

Shannon enjoyed being the manager and sacred space holder for Ecstatic Dance Oakland from 2017-2024. She has studied extensively with many of the early pioneers of Contact Improvisation and loves articulating the mechanics of weight sharing for those unfamiliar with the form. She brings delight to the space with her unique ability to create safety while spicing things up with humor and spontaneity. Shannon has a presence that guides those in her field to come home to their essential self through play and spontaneity as well as attunement and depth.

Ecstatic Dance is a Freeform Conscious Dance.

Mixed by a Seasoned DJ for a Continuous Sonic Journey.

Move however you wish, without verbal guidance, shoes, or booze.

Music will flow through various Tempos, Genres, Intensities, and Emotions, so that Dancers may Experience, Express, and Transform on a judgement free dancefloor.

Ecstatic Dance can be your:

5. Personal Connection with Self

We only ask that you refrain from:

1. Talking on the Dancefloor

2. Using your Phone

3. Wearing Shoes
