MOVEMENT AND SOUND #2 | in our feelings: a two-part healing workshop
Join us for a FREE interactive workshop designed to offer a nurturing space for reflection, connection, and self-care through writing, herbal support, and somatic practices. This event marks the beginning of our “In Our Feelings” series, focusing on the transformative power of community healing.
This workshop is the first of a 2 part series exploring different healing modalities, with future events including movement and sound. Let’s gather, reflect, and nurture our well-being together. 🌼
Schedule:
- 12:00 PM - 12:30 PM: Welcome and Vegan Nepalese Meal by Gita
- 12:30 PM: Writing Blessings for Ourselves (45 mins)
With Chris Aldana @xtian_as of @LuyaPoetry -Engage in journal prompts and creative writing exercises to release stress and set positive intentions for the year, crafting poems as blessings to ourselves. - 1:30 PM: Herb Kin within Grief (45 mins)
With kyung of @freedomfighterherbs - A reflective tea circle led by kyung, sharing plant wisdom and providing an herbal gift to support transitions and soothe the heart.
- 2:30 PM: Nervous System Resonance (30 mins)
With denim d (@dchanghuiming) - Experience a guided somatic lesson and meditation focused on the nervous system to help us build resilience and navigate life’s stressors.

Registration required for event details. All are welcome to join!
We will be encouraging everyone to wear a mask, and masks will also be provided. HEPA air purifiers will also be available in the space.
