Mother’s Day Baby Art Workshop in Toronto
A Creative Afternoon Out for Moms and Babies
Looking for a meaningful way to celebrate Mother’s Day with your little one?
Join us at Fresh Paint Studio for a special Mother’s Day Baby Art Workshop, a warm and welcoming creative session designed for moms, babies, and little ones to enjoy together. This is more than an art workshop — it is a chance for new moms to get out of the house, enjoy some connection, meet other moms, and make beautiful keepsake artwork with their babies just in time for Mother’s Day.
In this special session, babies will explore colour, texture, and movement using non-toxic vegetable- and fruit-based paints, along with sponges, stamps, and playful mark-making tools. With your help, your baby will add adorable handprint and footprints to their masterpieces while enjoying a fun, sensory-rich creative experience.
It is the perfect way to slow down, make memories, and create something heartfelt that can be treasured for years to come — whether for yourself, for baby, or as a meaningful Mother’s Day gift for a grandmother or loved one.
What Babies Will Create
Babies can create:
- Two mini 8 x 10 canvases
These keepsake paintings are perfect for preserving those tiny hands and feet in a way that feels personal, creative, and full of love.
Personalization Option
Want to make your baby’s artwork even more special?
We can pre-apply your baby’s first initial or first and last initial in vinyl lettering to one or two canvases in advance. Your baby will then paint the canvas and once we remove the vinyl stickers, the initials will still be visible.

Important Notes
We will be using natural veggie-and fruit-based paint made with flour and natural dyes from ingredients such as blueberries, carrots, beets, and spinach, along with food colouring to intensify the colours.
This is a messy workshop — and that is part of the fun!
Please dress for mess
We recommend bringing:
- A change of clothes for baby
- A towel
- Anything your little one may need after clean-up
Adult smocks are available for caregivers.
Stroller Note
Please note that studio space for strollers is limited. If possible, we recommend bringing a baby carrier or a small compact stroller to help us keep the space comfortable for everyone.
