About this Event
Exploding from the vibrant music scene of Meanjin/Brisbane, Australia, Mosspaw are a shrapnel grenade of alt-rock, psych rock, shoegaze, and nu-jazz, and are carving a name for themselves as a pioneering alternative-psych outfit. Their debut album Big Bite delves into themes of loss, unhealthy relationships, and substance abuse, though the often
cryptic lyrics invite listeners to interpret their meaning in open-ended ways. The album was self-produced in frontman Daniel's home studio, with mixing outsourced to the esteemed Magoo, Marly Lüske and Joel Myles, and mastering by Marly Lüske. Following a productive first year filled with electrifying performances, Mosspaw are ready to share their eclectic 55 minute body of work with the world, and put it on show at Black Bear Lodge on November 24th (Dan's Birthday) for the last stop of the tour.
Joining them on the night will be alternative shoegaze outfit Phantasm Street, and retro-synth-rockers Eye Colour. So put on your Sunday best and head to BBL on Nov 24th for a good time.
Tix $15+bf online, $20 on the door.
