About this Event
Park on Recreation Drive near Clocktower Cafe. We'll meet outside the Clocktower Cafe and take a walk along the lakefront to Montrose Point and go into the bird sanctuary. After enjoying the aviary sounds and sites the group will traverse a bit further north and take a short break before returning south to the cafe.
The walk is on paved paths so wear good walking shoes. The pace will be steady unless the wind off the lake is a super strong headwind. It is typically windy so wear a hat that will stay on your head and weather appropriate clothes. Sunscreen and water for hydration are also recommended.
Walkers participate at their own risk.
