Step into the world of the legendary Monkey King like never before - where storytelling meets live performance, and tradition collides with creativity.
✨ A Fresh Take on Journey to the West
The Monkey King, Sun Wukong—born from a magical stone and gifted with extraordinary powers—is one of the most iconic figures from the 16th-century classic Journey to the West.
This production reimagines his story through a new lens, taking you behind the scenes to discover how designers bring characters to life through the rich symbolism of Cantonese opera costumes. From bold colors to intricate patterns, uncover the history and meaning behind each design—offering both new audiences and longtime fans a deeper appreciation of this timeless art form.
