Money Papermaking Workshop at Shotwell Paper Mill

Join us for a special papermaking workshop where we'll use shredded money to create beautiful sheets of paper.

Taxes got you down? Whether you're getting a refund or writing a check, chances are it will involve U.S. dollars. What better way to mark your civic duty than to make paper using shredded currency obtained from the U.S. Mint. Our expert instructor will guide you through the process step by step so beginners are welcome. Don't miss out on the opportunity to work with this unique material and experience the processes, and equipment used in Western hand papermaking.

Every attendee must have their own ticket and we need a minimum of four people to run the workshop. If the minimum is not met one week prior we will cancel the workshop and issue a refund. An equipment waiver must be signed by each participant on or before the day of the workshop.

Please note there will be a large friendly dog onsite.
