Boils and Ghouls and all manner of Monsters, welcome to MONDAY MACABRE: a FREE live monthly horror movie watch party hosted by me, Josh Witchens! I'll do an introduction with all the behind the scenes history and tea - and then once the movie begins I invite all guests to comment on the movie in the style of Mystery Science Theater 3000 for creepy community fun!Our final film before our summer break is the iconic dark comedy cult classic HEATHERS from 1988, starring Winona Ryder. Featuring a brilliant screenplay with endlessly quotable dialogue, this is high school horror satire at its best and most viciously true. Without HEATHERS, there would be no MEAN GIRLS.
