About this Event
To mark publication of Library of America’s new two-volume collection The American Short Story: The Nineteenth Century, join literary luminaries Joshua Cohen and Michael Cunningham for a conversation about the stories that have most influenced them and remain uniquely resonant.
Cohen, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for The Netanyahus, teaches writing in Columbia’s School of the Arts. Cunningham, winner of the Pulitzer Prize for The Hours, teaches writing at Yale.
This live, in-person event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. A recording will be shared on Library of America's YouTube channel in the days following the event.
