This special evening brings together anglers, families, conservationists, and community members who care deeply about Maine’s rivers—and the wild trout and salmon that depend on them.
💧 Why it matters:
MMBTU is currently removing a dam on the Nezinscot River in Buckfield, restoring 12.9 miles of spawning, rearing, and thermal refuge habitat for wild brook trout. We’ve raised $411,600 toward our $615,000 goal—and this banquet helps close the gap. Every ticket makes a difference!
🎤 Featured Dinner Speaker:
Jeff Reardon, Maine Headwaters Project Manager for the Atlantic Salmon Federation, will share insights on dam removal and river restoration in Maine, including the landmark Penobscot and Kennebec River projects. Jeff has worked in river conservation in Maine since 1994 and brings a deep, firsthand perspective.
