A celebration of rhythm, community, and San Francisco’s vibrant cultural diversity.
¡FLAMENKING! Vol.7 transforms the Opera House into an Early Feria—an immersive flamenco celebration inspired by Andalusia and grounded in the rich, multicultural energy of San Francisco.
This event is a collaboration of Bayview Ruth Williams Opera House x Mizuho Sato Flamenco.
Experience 25+ dynamic dancers joined by live flamenco guitar, cante (vocals), and percussion, creating a powerful, communal evening where tradition meets contemporary expression.
This is more than a performance—it’s a gathering.

Mizuho Sato is a flamenco dancer and artistic director based in San Francisco. Rooted in traditional flamenco and shaped by contemporary collaboration, her work centers on lineage, diversity, community-building, and cultural exchange. Through ¡FLAMENKING!, she creates inclusive, high-energy productions that celebrate flamenco as a living, evolving art form—inviting both audiences and participants to become part of the experience.
