Improv Without a Net: AOS Show!
Get ready for a night of fun, danger, and raw talent at Acting Out Studio! We’ve gathered some of Charlotte’s best improvisers to play with our house teams in a show that’s completely made up on the spot.
Here’s the twist: our guest teams arrive just one hour before the show, we pick the team and the improv form, and they perform it for the very first time when the curtain rises. Think of it as improv… without a safety net!
After that, stick around for short-form games inspired by Whose Line Is It Anyway? for laughs, surprises, and pure improvisational magic.
Featuring performers from Mom’s Adhesive, Sudden Depth, Now Are the Foxes, Sunday Supper, Cul-De-Sac Improv, and more.

📍 LocationYou’ll find AOS in the Fountains Shopping Center, right at the corner of Ardrey Kell and Tom Short. We’re on the first floor, across from Coco’s Mexican Restaurant (so you can’t miss us!). Our Basement Theater is cozy, welcoming, and fully handicapped accessible.
