Join a fabulous Miss Rachel inspired Grown Up and Me class at Treasure Trunk Theater on Atlantic Avenue! This class will be lead by registered children's yoga teacher, Miss Brittyn who has five years of experience teaching children's and grown up and me Children's programming through Life Time Fitness' Kids Academy. You can expect a sing and stretch that engages caregivers, parents, and tots alike! The suggested age range for this class is 1.5- 3 years old. Siblings under 12 months are free to join!
About your class leader: Ms. Brittyn is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. After graduating from Leslie Hanks Yoga Unlimited she taught At Risk Youth who were displaced in Memphis, TN. As a resident yoga teacher for these group homes, Ms. Brittyn became certified in Crisis Prevention Intervention, Collaborative Problem Solving, CPR & First Aid, and became a Teen Outreach Facilitator. Ms. Brittyn moved to New York following the pandemic's epicenter and continued to teach enrichment such as Gymnastics, Ballet, and Grown Up and Me Classes at Life Time Fitness in Manhattan and Brooklyn. She also offers various Barbie themed yoga classes with Jersey City Party Characters.
Currently, Brittyn balances a day job working with At Risk Communities, a fun job storytelling with her femme-based theater company: STRANGEGIRLZZ, and a pink collar effort to build a Family Enrichment space with her best friend, Iman Abdul.
