About this Event
Misguided Meditation is a comedy HAPPENING all about the mindfulness journey of comedian Matt Ruby (NY Times: "Funny" and "button-pushing") featuring an ambient soundscape from musician Steve Pestana and live visuals mixed by artist Sophia Sobers.
It's about psychedelics, meditation, therapy, death, and way more. Is it funny? Yes. Is it serious? Yes. It's human, okay? Along the way, Matt discusses the thorniness of the mindful life, pokes fun at woo woo wackos, and discusses his own failures/successes trying to find "the way." Come with an open mind, take a deep breath, and ingest something groovy (if ya like).
It all takes place at CX, a lush social club in the heart of Soho in NYC.
Doors at 8:00pm/showtime 9pm.
