Netherlands born, Bristol based artist Mireille Mathlener has a growing reputation for striking songs with a real captivating, narrative quality and has been compared to the likes of Neil Young and Chrissie Hynde (The Pretenders).. The band's live performances offer a highwire act between breezy modern Americana and dark melodic alternative rock. The band are currently working on a new album to be released in 2022. The double a sided single 'Rise / Halcyon Days' was released in October 2020. Entirely recorded during lockdown, it received critical acclaim and was lauded as having 'everything going for it' and 'a song of our time'. A second single 'The Lonely Photographer' was released in December 2020 accompanied by a youtube video featuring well-known Bristol landmarks. A third single 'The Nightingale' is out now along with a promotional lockdown video on youtube.
