About this Event
minor theory at Household Books
minor theory is a series of discussions about the university, cultures of thought and study, and community building amidst political and environmental uncertainty. Join the Taft Research Center in collaboration with local bookstores as we read about radical worldmaking, collective dreaming, the freedom to study, and learning from the land. These sessions are free and open to the public, and will rotate locations on the last Thursday of each month. Books, essays and articles will be made available for purchase. Please let us know if you cannot afford or access the texts. If you have any questions or need to get in touch, write to Dr. Megan Gette [email protected] or Dr. Harshavardhan Bhat at [email protected].
For our first minor theory session at Household Books, we will be reading and discussing Moten and Harney's All Incomplete -- which builds on their work "The Undercommons" to think about partial ways of knowing in collective: https://www.akpress.org/all-incomplete.html.
