Join Vijayraj Prajapat, celebrated as the Lentil Man of India for his astonishingly intricate paintings on lentil grains, for a hands-on workshop exploring the traditional art of Rajasthani miniature painting—this time on the delicate surface of diyas. Alongside his team from Umaid Heritage Art School, Prajapat will guide participants through the use of fine squirrel-hair brushes, natural mineral pigments, and the meticulous layered techniques that define this age-old practice.
From preparing and priming the clay surface to mastering brush control and intricate detail work, this session offers a rare opportunity to engage deeply with a craft that balances discipline and imagination. All materials will be provided, and the workshop is open to all skill levels.
