About this Event
Mindfulness for Life 2024 is a 10-week Stress-Management Programme delivered FREE by HABITS of London C.I.C... generously funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. It comprises a 3-hour session per week... with two main objectives::
1. To increase MOTIVATION to prepare people for change towards achieving their life goals
2. To cultivate MINDFULNESS to train the mind to effectively manage stress & other challenges
The programme will enable you to overcome barriers preventing you from meeting life goals. With the opportunity to gain support towards becoming your best self you will learn how to enhance self-confidence, self-esteem, awareness and motivation in an uplifting and dynamic environment.
The programme will give clear and simple understanding of the processes underpinning MOTIVATION and the benefits of MINDFULNESS that will:
- help you understand your own 'habits of mind' so you can make better, informed decisions towards the direction of positive change
- help you take control of your mind so you can take control of your life
- help you develop simple tools and techniques available to you long after the programme has ended to help effectively manage stress, depression, anxiety, anger, pain and other emotional, mental & physical health issues
- help you understand your intrinsic motivation giving you the ability to apply what you’ve learnt in any situation requiring change
- give you the confidence to plan towards and eventually achieve your life goals
- enhance overall self-esteem, self-confidence and resilience
- combat isolation, loneliness and other existential struggles
On the completion of this 10-Week programme you will be awarded an achievement certificate and a token booklet highlighting the material shared and learnt throughout the programme... for you to keep... for LIFE.
