Join us on Thursdays for Wellness sessions at Violet Melchett.
Community Corner is a service run by the NHS aiming to combat social isolation and help people to live well in their communities. We run activities to promote health and wellbeing every Tuesday at Earl's Court and every Thursday at Violet Melchett.
Join us on Thursday 9 April from 14:00-16:00 for tea at Violet Melchett, followed by a walk to the Royal Hospital Chelsea, home of the Chelsea Pensioners, to explore their private garden and woodland area.
Timetable:
- 14:00: Event starts at Violet Melchett, 30 Flood Walk, SW3 5RR. Afternoon tea and refreshments served on arrival at Violet Melchett
- 14:10: We will start heading towards the Royal Hospital Chelsea (a 15-min walk from Violet Melchett)
- 14:30: Facilitated mindful walk around Ranelagh Gardens at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, with nature-inspired poetry readings and development. Only outdoors.
- 16:00: Activity comes to an end at the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
Great for those who would like: A sense of community; To feel less isolated; To meet new people in the local community; To feel connected with nature.

The Community Corner team put a lot of effort into these events, alongside running a busy drop-in service. Whilst these events are free to attend, they are not free to run!
