About this Event
Relaxing Riverside Nature Walk
When: May 30, 2026 at 11:30 AM (BST)
Where: St Nicholas' Church, Chiswick
Inspired by the Japanese practice of Forest Bathing (Shinrin-Yoku), this walk encourages mindful observation of nature helping us reconnect with our surroundings, calm the mind and support overall wellbeing.
Although we are in London, the Thames Path offers wonderful opportunities to experience the benefits of nature through gentle awareness, sensory engagement and mindful walking.

π Listen to the sounds of nature and the river
πΏ Engage our senses through mindful observation
πΆ Enjoy a pleasant and reasonably brisk riverside walk

The aim is to relax, recharge and discover a lovely part of London while enjoying nature in a supportive group.
We will finish with the option to sit together for tea or coffee at the cafΓ© in the beautiful grounds of Chiswick House.

Research shows that spending mindful time in nature can:
