About this Event
Led by Tamara Grossutti (400hr+ certified yoga teacher and climate activist), this class series is designed for community leaders, activists, and caring humans working to make the world better — and who sometimes feel overwhelmed by the weight of it all.
These yoga and meditation sessions offer a supportive space to slow down, reconnect, and care for your nervous system. Through breathwork, meditation, and accessible yoga practices, participants will explore ways to cultivate calm, self-compassion, and emotional resilience while gently processing feelings connected to the climate crisis.
Tamara will lead four Saturday sessions from 5:00–7:00 PM once a month from March to June. Each session explores a unique theme — Community, Insight, Grief & Self-Compassion, and Joy & Gratitude — alongside grounding practices inspired by Hatha, Yin, Restorative, and Vinyasa yoga.
Participants are encouraged to attend the full series or drop in for individual sessions. All are welcome, particularly those new to yoga or meditation.
Sessions include:
Session 1 — Community (Saturday, March 28, 5:00–7:00 PM)
Session 2 — Insight (Saturday, April 18, 5:00–7:00 PM)
Session 3 — Grief & Self-Compassion (Saturday, May 23, 5:00–7:00 PM)
