About this Event
Fascism is here, but so is the resistance.
Join us for two days building collective power to combat the rise of the far-right in our communities. We will be uniting minds from across migrant and racial justice movements, as well as community defence networks and organisers from across the housing, trade union and climate movements to build unified strategy and collective action to stop hatred in its tracks
Don’t mourn: organise - the threats we’re facing are shared and so is the work of resisting.
Resistance is already happening in communities across the UK. This is where we’ll strengthen it.
Key information
Date: 20-21 April 2026 (tbc)
Time: all day
Location: City University, Northampton Square, London, EC1V 0HB
What the summit is for
- Building shared analysis of how the far-right and state policies are converging to endanger migrant and racialised communities - and the anti-fascist movement itself.
- Bringing together networks that rarely meet, to name the coalition‑building already happening and to plan the next phase of it.
- Documenting what we learn, through visual and written materials that can be used by organisers, councillors, funders, and community groups.
Strengthening relationships and momentum ahead of the 2026 local elections and the struggles that will follow.
Who should attend
- Community organisers, volunteers and leaders
- Academics and students working on migration or bordering
- Campaigners and practitioners in the migration and intersecting sectors
- Local government staff interested in community engagement and messaging
- Anyone invested in narrative change and collective liberation
Please note: this is a free interactive workshop open to all, lunch and refreshments will be provided free of charge
What the summit feels like
A space where people who are usually firefighting can breathe, think, and connect. A space where frontline organisers, researchers, artists, and community groups can learn from each other without hierarchy. A space where the work already happening across the country becomes visible - and where we can decide, together, how to scale it.
This is not another panel event. It’s a gathering for people who know that fascism is already here, who are already resisting it, and who want to build the power we need to win.
