About this Event

Pendant deux jours, vos enfants exploreront la photographie comme moyen d’expression personnelle et collective. Guidés par l'artiste Pasky, ils découvriront comment raconter une histoire en images, tout en développant leur regard critique et leur créativité.

Au programme :
✨ Introduction ludique à la photographie narrative
✨ Découverte d’artistes locaux et internationaux (portraits, autoportraits, studios photographiques)
✨ Défis créatifs en extérieur si la météo le permet – Kensington Market, Chinatown et autres quartiers emblématiques
✨ Expérimentation avec des appareils photo semi-professionnels
✨ Création collective (mini-exposition) à la fin du camp

  • Explorer la ville appareil photo à la main
  • Exprimer leurs idées par l’image
  • Apprendre en français à travers les arts visuels

Over two creative days, your child will explore photography as a tool for personal and collective expression. Guided by, they will learn how to tell a story through images while developing critical thinking and creativity.

What’s on the program:
✨ Fun introduction to narrative photography
✨ Discovery of local and international artists (portraits, self-portraits, photographic studios)
✨ Outdoor creative challenges, weather permitting – in Kensington Market, Chinatown and other iconic neighbourhoods
✨ Hands-on experimentation with semi-professional cameras
✨ Collective creation (mini-exhibition) to close the camp

What your child will experience:

  • Exploring the city with a camera in hand
  • Expressing their ideas through images
  • Learning in French through visual arts
  • Meeting new friends in a safe and inclusive environment
  • Visiting contemporary art galleries in Toronto

Practical information:

  • Duration: 2 days (12h total)
  • Schedule: 10am – 4pm
  • Age: 8 to 12 years old (Grades 3 to 6)
