astonishing array of internationally acclaimed artists, including Bobby
McFerrin, Sarah Jane Morris, Pentangle, , Sheila Jordan, Peter
Bernstein, Carl Anderson, Mina and countless others .
Rosen has been voted three times in the top ten in the Jazzit Magazine

2011 after Dave Leibman, Wayne Shorter and Branford Marsalis.
Recent activities have included performances at the Royal Opera House in
Muscat, Oman, London Jazz Festival and The British Houses of Parliament,
as well as concerts and masterclasses at Washington University in St.
Louis.
As a recording artist, Rosen is the author of ten solo albums, and has
appeared as guest soloist on over 150 cd's for Jazz and Pop artists in
Italy, the U.K., and the U.S.A. His penultimate cd, Sweet 17, recorded
in New York City , was voted by critics of Jazzit Magazine to be one of
the best 100 records of 2018. In addition, his saxophone solos were
featured on the soundtrack for the ISO dance company’s 1991 performances
in Tokyo and at the Rockafeller Center in New York City, written by
world-famous Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi.
In addition to his ten solo cd's Rosen is the author of four published
books of classical music: Empire State Suite for alto sax and piano
and Five Petite Suites for saxophone were recently released in the
U.S.A. by Lyrical Pub. His book of advanced improvisational studies,
Rhythmic Melodic Variation, Vol. 1, was published in early 2021 by
