About this Event

This fun, introductory course is perfect for all ages! You will learn the basics of guitar playing as well as certain tips, tricks, and techniques to help you're experience along the way! Here's a breakdown of what one can expect to learn during this course:

The Parts of the Guitar (Acoustic v Electric)
Good Hand Health and Strong Structure
Fundemental Chords and Chords Variations
Pentatonic and Other Standard Scales
Scale Transitioning
Strumming Techniques
Picking Techniques (W/ Pick and W/O Pick)
Speed Techniques
Tuning Techniques (Tuning By Ear)
Tempo (Song Speed)

It really only takes a strong structure for chords and scales, some confidence in chord tranisitons, and a nice understanding of tempo, in order to start playing some of your favorite music. (HINT: a lot of artists will find chords that they reuse in different ways to create different feelings throughout their album(s)!)
