Mental Health First Aid Half Day

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week 2026 we are offering a Mental Health First Aid Half Day Training. Don't miss this opportunity to enhance your role in sport.

Come join us for a half-day event tailored for sport and physical activity coaches, volunteers, and welfare leads.

This training will take place the House of Sport, 190 Great Dover Street, SE1 4YB, on Saturday the 9th of May, 10am-2pm.

This session is delivered by Mind in Haringey.

Learn essential skills and knowledge to support mental health in your club community.

You will leave with a greater understanding of:

• What mental health is and how to challenge stigma
• A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues
• An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining well-being
• The confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue

This in-person session will take place through a mix of presentations, group discussions and workshop activities. We limit numbers to 20 people per course so that the instructor can keep people safe and supported while they learn.
