About this Event
It's the most wonderful (and most overwhelming) time of the year! With so much to do and so many to care for during the holidays, it can be hard for faith leaders to both care for their communities and for themselves.
Join mental health nonprofit, Rock Recovery, for a 30-minute training for faith leaders, counselors, staff and volunteers on navigating mental health struggles and burnout during the holiday season. Our Executive Director, Christie Bettwy, will share expert tips on how faith leaders can support and care for their communities, while still prioritizing their own health during the busiest time of the year. Following the training, there will be a short Q&A session.
Topics covered will include:
- Depression, anxiety and loneliness
- Food and body image struggles
- Compassion fatigue and burnout
- Practical tips and resources for support
For questions, email Izy Johnston at [email protected].
