2:10 – 2:30- Presentation of Council Citation to Ariell Johnson by Derek Green, Esq Councilmember At-Large.2:30 – 3:00 – Presentation on Black Mental Health, Self-care and Empowerment (Speaker TBD) 3:00 – 4:00pm – Why Wakanda Matters: What Black Panther Reveals about Psychology, Identity and Communication book signing with Dr. Howard/ meet and greet.

Dr. Sheena Howard is the first Black woman to win an Eisner award at San-Diego Comic-Con. She is the author-editor of Black: Comics: Politics of Race and Representation, Encyclopedia of Black Comics and more. Currently she is a free-lance writer for DC Comics.
