About this Event
Inspired by the "Maharishi Effect" which proved meditating together in a group can reduce crime, violence, and chaos within the city it is practiced in.
We are coming together with one common goal — to protect the city of Memphis.
For many of us Memphis is our home, a place that isn't perfect, but has been targeted time and time again.
- Stripped of resources and qualified leadership.
- Poisoned regularly.
- & Continuously kept from educational advancements within our school systems

This is the time for us to RISE.
The first Memphis Meditation for Peace & Protection will be held May 25th 12pm at SovereignTea 140 Monroe Ave. 38103.
Through meditation we will continue an energetic practice known to reduce surrounding chaos & violence and embark on a city-wide healing journey as one solid collective.

*Please bring mats, blankets, and/or meditation cushions. We will start with light movement before meditation begins.
