About this Event
Welcome to the Memorial Concert Honoring Fr. Ivan Moody! Join us at the St. Andrew Greek Orthodox Church for a special matinee concert honoring the music of an outstanding composer-Fr. Ivan Moody, whose untimely passing sent a wave of sadness throughout the classical music world. The program will consist of sacred choral works by Fr. Ivan and a world-premiere of Kurt Sander's With Eyes Unveiled for choir and cello, a newly commissioned work. The Society of Saint Romanos the Melodist is proud to sponsor this event and to feature one of Chicago's premiere chamber choirs-The St. Romanos Cappella under the direction of Peter Jermihov. Come together with fellow lovers of outstanding choral performance to honor and celebrate Fr. Ivan Moody in a memorable way. We look forward to seeing you there!
