About this Event
Join us for “Meeting Ourselves & Each Other Well with Mindful Self-Compassion, True Nature, The Three Types of Courage, and The Four Rivers of Life” with DVI Steering Committee Member, Jesse Frechette, on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 3 to 5 p.m. This will be a hybrid event, i.e. you can elect to attend either in-person, at the Summit Presbyterian Church, 6757 Greene St, Philadelphia, PA 19119, or online via Zoom. Jesse will be at the Summit Presbyterian Church.
This offering will alternate between mindfulness talks and practices that support the embodiment of the tone of mind and felt sense in the body that reconnects us to True Nature, Self-Compassion, and a Balanced Wellness through reflection and inquiry on the Three Types of Courage (based on Frank Ostaseski’s Book ”The Five Invitations”), and The Four Rivers of Life (based on indigenous wisdom and the life work of cultural anthropologist, Angeles Arrien).
This program is appropriate for both new and experienced meditators — all are welcome.
Please add [email protected] to your address book to ensure you receive any communications for the event. If you have any difficulties joining the zoom or registering for a DVI class, please reach out to the email above or call Fred Allemann at (914) 312-7343.
Location: The location in Philadelphia will be at the Summit Presbyterian Church, 6757 Greene St, Philadelphia, PA 19119, or online via Zoom. Jesse will be at the Summit Presbyterian Church.
