Meeting Elderflower

Join local herbalist Rosy to meet one seasonal herb at a time and learn more about how to identify it, it's traditional uses and how to prepare a herbal remedy with it.

Meeting one plant at a time is a deeper and more sustainable way to learn about herbalism, and I hope that you will leave the group feeling more confident to identify and use these plants for yourself.

This month is about the elder tree, which we will be making a brew from to try as well as discussing other ways to prepare it and how it may help to support our health and wellbeing. We will also go for a walk to find it growing nearby outdoors.

My room is above the Balgonie kilts shop in Falkland and can only be accessed by stairs, and we will go for a short walk during the session.

This workshop is suitable for 12years plus and those under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.
