Mayflower Steps to Royal William Yard

A 5 mile walk from the Barbican to Mount Batten, following the SWCP through Cattedown and Oreston, Hooe and Turnchaple.

Lots of surprising heritage, mix of urban, woodland and waterside paths. A mostly flat route with a few gentle inclines. We will walk at a gentle pace, with plently of stops for rest and a refreshment break half way through.

This walk is part of the SWCPA Coast Path Connectors Project, which develops sociable walking programmmes to connect people to the nature and heritage of the Coast Path for health and wellbeing benefits.
