About this Event
This artist led guided tour is an intimate viewing of The Spirit of Landscape, a solo exhibition by expressive landscape painter Viola Hortová.
During the tour, Viola will walk visitors through the exhibition, sharing how the paintings were created, her plein-air process, and how landscape, emotion and memory come together in her work. The tour will also include insight into her sketchbooks, which are exhibited as a way of inviting viewers into her creative thinking and process.
The guided tour is open to everyone and is especially welcoming to those interested in artistic process, painting, landscape, and contemporary expressive practices. Gallery representatives, collectors and members of the public are all warmly invited.
The tour will last approximately 30 to 45 minutes, and there will be time for informal questions and conversation.
This guided tour will be followed by a free creative workshop titled Landscape Within at 2:00 pm on the same day. Visitors are very welcome to attend both events. (Booking is recommended due to limited capacity. )
