The I AM Wellness Association is very excited to be hosting an ecstatic dance event in Ottawa this Spring! And if you know us, you know we LOVE hosting community events! Join us in an exceptional location at the DQ Ballroom & Fitness Studio for a Spring Fling.
The theme is Mayflowers so wear your flowy, flowery best, (if you desire).
Come and experience Ecstatic Dance, a freeform, sober and non-choreographed movement practice where participants move intuitively to express emotions, release stress and enter a meditative or trance-like state. I would also call it “conscious raving” as it can be very therapeutic and healing.
It emphasizes authentic self-expression without judgement. It fosters a sense of belonging and connection that is so important in today’s world. No skill required (that’s the point!), and all ages welcome!
Come and connect with us, enjoy some healthy homemade snacks and delicious hydrating beverages, and let’s dance!

Doors open at 6:30 p.m., dance begins at 7:00 (until 9:00 p.m.) with a free cup of ceremonial cacao and introduction.
