Max Strom is a global teacher, speaker, author, and trainer, and is known for profoundly inspiring and impacting the lives of his students for over two decades. His method, Inner Axis, is a field-tested system that addresses the internal, and emotional, aspects of our life, as well as our physical health and well being. He is the author of; There is No APP for Happiness, and, A Life Worth Breathing.
A dynamic speaker, Max has presented at three TEDx events, and keynote addresses for wellness conferences, corporate conferences, and yoga festivals.
SEMINAR PROGRAM OUTLINE:
Vital Life-Better Sleep: Stress Management
Friday, June 5, 2026: 7 pm to 9 pm
All levels are welcome.
This evening workshop deals directly with the modern plague of sleeplessness and stress. In America, the Center for Disease Control has declared sleep disorder an epidemic, and this is happening in industrial cities across the world. This workshop will help you re-think your priorities and gives you knowledge to take home with you to help you to fall asleep quickly and stay asleep longer.
This seminar begins with a lecture, and then moves into a gentle restorative sequence of postures and gentle movement that immediately trigger deep relaxation. This is followed by a powerful breathing sequence that takes you even deeper into extraordinary calm. Most students find it difficult to get up off the floor at the end because they are so relaxed. Simple, powerful, accessible. Bring writing materials.

Strength, Grace, and Healing (Hips and Legs)
Saturday, June 6, 2026: 10 am to 12 pm
All levels are welcome.
We don’t want to become flexible and strong angry people. Great abs don’t help with panic attacks. The intent of our practice is not only to increase our strength and flexibility, it is partially that, but it what if it could also melt away anxiety?
Inner Axis transforms our body while also promoting emotional health. Over time, this work transforms our behaviour from coarse to gracious, and even our thoughts from chaos into balance. Class will begin with a talk about emotional health and transformation, followed by a practice of Inner Axis yoga, breathing patterns, and visualization. Focus on the legs, hips, and spine.

A Life Worth Breathing:
Saturday, June 6, 2026: 2 pm to 4:30 pm
All levels are welcome.
This special event is focused on transforming depression into inspiration and anxiety into calm. Max’s work is known for its healing, penetrating affect, leaving students feeling renewed and open.
The workshop begins with a talk by Max based on ideas from his book of the same title. This will be followed by the integration of breathing exercises and yoga movement. The final segment of the workshop will focus on seated breathing exercises to revitalize and inspire your body, your emotions, and your life.
Our session closes with a book signing.

The Healing Power of Forgiveness | healing relationships + empowering lives
Sunday, June 7, 2026: 10 am to 12 pm
All levels are welcome.
Forgiveness is perhaps the most powerful and yet forgotten tool we have for healing ourselves. To forgive another heals oneself, just as anger toward another poisons oneself. Anger and resentment destroy our lives.
For the body to heal, often times what is most vital is to heal the broken heart or spirit. Failure to forgive affects our stress level, power to heal the body, discernment, and all of our relationships. The first part of this seminar is a powerful lecture on forgiving others; the second part will address forgiving oneself. Max has taken the message of forgiveness around the world to a people of many faiths and nationalities.

There’s a time for talking, and there’s a time to let our breath work for us and go beyond what we can rationally grasp to release our congested emotions from stress, depression, anxiety, or PTS. Emotions affect our breathing, for example: crying and laughing. But did you know that changing the pattern of our breathing influences our emotions?
An innovative method, simple techniques, and incredible results. The practices you will learn in this workshop take you to a calm and inspired state with new depths of insight. This workshop will include lecture, standing and seated breathing exercises. Bring writing materials. (not advised if you are pregnant)

This is an In-Person event. There is no online or virtual option.
COST:
2-hour sessions $95.00 CDN each person.
2.5-hour session $125.00 CDN each person.
Sign up for the FULL weekend and SAVE! $475.00 CDN per person for the full weekend.
All Master Class purchases are FINAL. NO REFUNDS will be provided for Master Class, Workshop and Event cancellations. However, a credit to your PranaShanti account is available up until five (5) days before the start date or you may arrange for an alternate person to attend in your place. No credits will be provided after that time.

For 200 hour certified Yoga Teachers this course provides CEUs with Yoga Alliance.
