Find out how this cedar house post will journey cross-country to Alert Bay, British Columbia, returning to the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw people, after being on display at the Bicentennial International Sculpture Garden at Penn's Landing from 1978–1998 and hidden since.

The exhibition, Homecoming: The Journey of a Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw Na̱ʼwiti House Post, details the history and cultural significance of the Kwakwa̱ka̱ʼwakw Na̱ʼwiti House Post (c. 1850, carved cedar), which aPA will return to its ancestral land in partnership with the U’mista Cultural Centre in Alert Bay, British Columbia.
