Jacopo Biondi Santi Castello di Montepò Masterclass with Tancredi Biondi Santi
On Thursday May 21st from 6:30- 8pm, join us for a very special evening with winemaker Tancredi Biondi Santi as he leads us through a Masterclass of his wines.
The Biondi Santi family is responsible for creating the famous Brunello di Montalcino we know and love today. Tancredi is the youngest member of this dynasty and represents a new chapter for Tuscany. After Franco Biondi Santi's death in 2013, the Biondi Santi estate was split among the family, yet his son Jacopo forged his own path with a hilltop estate in the Scansano countryside he had purchased back in1996. Today, Tancredi and his father Jacopo farm 600 hectares at their estate Castello di Montepò in Maremma using the original Sangiovese close from the proprietary Biondi Santi estate rootstock. While the Biondi Santi history of making wine in Montalcino stretches back to the middle ages, we are excited to explore the future of the Biondi Santi family and their Castello di Montepò wines. Seats are limited.
