In this three-day seminar on the 103 movement Traditional Yang Family Tai Chi Chuan hand form, Master Yang Jun will delve into the theory, philosophy, principles, techniques and skills of the discipline. The seminar will be in the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre over looking the Yukon River.
We are also offering a couple of excursions – one the day before the seminar, the other the day after.
One excursion will be a trip to the Yukon Southern Lakes to explore the Carcross Desert, the world’s smallest desert, tour the historic town of Carcross, visit Haa Shagóon Hidi, the Carcross-Tagish First Nation Cultural Centre and a trek into a wilderness dojo for a little practice.
The other will be to enjoy the amenities along the Hotsprings Road: the Yukon Wildlife Preserve, Bean North and the Eclipse Nordic Hot Springs, and, weather and sunspot action permitting, go aurora watching.
