Harmony Star are two little birds making music on little machines. Their first album, "Run, Children. Run.", mused on aging and betrayals that never really go away. Their latest album, "Boardwalk Arcade", is a concept album about losing everything, including yourself. The duo blend influences from new wave, oldies, post-punk, prog rock, and nostalgia-inducing ambient music. Their songs have been played on Alt Cleveland, the Alternation, and WZIP, and they recently opened for British Artist of the Year award-winner Ollie Wride. Harmony Star’s music has been praised as "Hail to the Thief as F**K", "Omg !!", and "awesome hot tub music."
The Skoolies
Joining forces late in 2019, The Skoolies wrote and played furiously until they were locked down and separated by the pandemic. The writing and playing continued remotely, leading to their first two albums “Darker Rhymes” and “Don’t Let Go," that represent their diverse approach to songwriting. A throwback to 80s post-punk pop era or maybe a flashback to something a bit more surreal? Indie rock at its finest. Playing original compositions and 80's, 90's, and 00's alternative rock!
