A Creative Workshop on Identity, Migration & Personal Storytelling.
What if your story could take shape… and be celebrated?
About this Event

Mask Your Story is a guided, two-session creative workshop where participants explore their personal journey through art, transforming experiences of migration, identity, loss, resilience, and change into something visible, expressive, and alive.

Inspired by the spirit of masks in carnivals and cultural traditions, this workshop invites you to turn memory into creation, and emotion into expression.

This is not about artistic skill, it’s about connection, creativity, and giving your story a new form.

No experience is needed, and sharing is always optional.

What to Expect

A welcoming and creative space to explore your story

Guided reflection through art and symbolism

Hands-on mask-making with colors, textures, and mixed materials

The option to incorporate meaningful personal objects

A process that moves from reflection to expression and even celebration

Who is this for?

Especially created for immigrants and members of the Latin American community, this workshop is open to anyone who wants to explore identity, memory, and transformation through art.]

Participants are invited (optional) to bring a small personal object to incorporate into their mask.
