About this Event
Our Sunday Pairings Room sessions feature chef Mark O'Brien (Willy's Margate, Snake Oil Barbecue) and sommelier Sinead Murdoch (Tasca). Dublin-born, Margate-based chef and Masterchef: the Professionals finalist, Mark O’Brien has spent the last ten years working his way through some of the best restaurants in London. Time spent at Barbecoa, The Dairy, and Birch (Zebra Riding Club) have all given him a grounding in modern cooking, whole-animal butchery, and live fire. The past 12 months have been a whirlwind for Mark - he joins us fresh from his star appearance on Masterchef: the Professionals, where he reached the final three, and two sell-out dinners at the iconic Sunset Cafe in Dreamland, Margate. He received rave reviews while at Willy’s restaurant at Margate House Hotel, including from The Guardian's Grace Dent, as well as opening his own American-style restaurant, "Snake Oil Barbecue" - watch this space for news of his latest opening later this year. Join Mark for an interactive evening where he'll serve up three signature dishes, all expertly paired with three delicious wines from our Pairings Room sommelier, Sinead Murdoch. Mark and Sinead will talk you through each dish and wine, explaining why they are perfect for each other.

Ticket Price: £55 + booking fees (three dishes and three glasses of wine included)
Age Restriction: 18+ years. We operate a Challenge 25 policy. We are unable to offer refunds to anyone unable to provide ID on request.

Terms and conditions
- We ask you to arrive up to 10 minutes before the advertised start time as the event will start promptly at that time. Late arrivals will be admitted at our discretion.
- No refunds will be offered for no shows or late attendance.
- This is a ticketed event only, and all guests will be seated at the same time on shared tables.
- You must bring proof of your ticket with you (digital or print).
- The Battersea Power Station site is big. Please allow 10-15 minutes to walk to the venue from Battersea Power Station tube, and longer from Battersea Park or Queenstown Road stations.
- The Pairings Room is located in The Lounge Bar at The Cinema in the Power Station, Turbine Hall B, Level 2
- Due to the pop-up nature of the event and limitations of our kitchen space, we are unable to cater for allergens and dietary requirements other than those listed on the menus.
- No dogs allowed
