Mardi Gras in Memphis is a 3-day citywide celebration designed to bring our community together through culture, entertainment, and the vibrant soul of Downtown Memphis. Inspired by the energy of New Orleans Mardi Gras and powered by Memphis and the surrounding cities, this weekend is all about unity and shared experiences.
From February 6–8, Downtown Memphis transforms into a full festival experience with music, art, food, entertainment, and unforgettable moments. The weekend kicks off with our high-energy Mardi GLOW Bar Crawl, followed by Saturday’s FREE open to the Public Parade & Block Party featuring floats, marching bands, dance teams, vendors, family activities, and live performances. On Sunday, the Mardi Tailgate Bowl brings a fun and exciting community gathering, complete with food, vendors, and the Big Game shown on huge screens for everyone to enjoy.
Beyond the festivities, Mardi Gras in Memphis is committed to uplifting our city. We’re investing in local businesses, hiring local talent, supporting community outreach, and creating opportunities that bring our neighborhoods together.
