About this Event
Led by migrant community facilitators and hosted by creative practitioners, this hands on creative workshop will explore our relationship to home, our networks of support and sources of resilience in a changing climate.
During the one-hour session, participants will take part in collective painting, print-making, writing, and collage. This will be followed by an informal discussion to reflect on how migration and housing insecurity shape people’s ability to cope with climate pressures such as heat and flooding.
The workshop builds on a recent exhibition developed with members of the Lewisham Refugee and Migrant Network (LRMN) and the Day-Mer Turkish and Kurdish Community Centre, as part of the PATH: Transforming Places for the Precariously Housed project.
