We are delighted to announce that we are offering a FREE in person Manual Handling Workshop with Stevie Goody from Fire Safety Solutions, on Tuesday 21st April from 9.30am - 11.30am. This is FREE for Belfast One BID Businesses only.
This practical and informative workshop is designed to give staff the knowledge and confidence to carry out manual handling tasks safely and effectively in the workplace.
Participants will learn:
- Safe manual handling practices, helping to reduce risk and improve day-to-day operations
- How to carry out and apply risk assessments in real workplace scenarios
- Common injuries linked to poor manual handling, and how to prevent them
- Key legislation and responsibilities of both employers and employees under NI Health & Safety law
- Correct lifting techniques, including how to safely carry out a manual handling lift
The course also ensures full compliance with Northern Ireland Health & Safety legislation, supporting safer workplaces for all.
