Manga March Madness Faire returns as AniTOMO’s annual celebration of manga and Women’s History Month!
Join us for a free community event at the 53rd Street branch of the New York Public Library dedicated to the artists, stories, and fans who love manga.
This year we’re celebrating the 20th anniversary of Ouran High School Host Club, the beloved Shōjo series written by acclaimed female mangaka Bisco Hatori. Fans will have the chance to explore the series and the wider world of shōjo storytelling through discussion and creative activities. Beyond that we'll be highlighting women in the community that are making a mark in the manga industy in their own unique way. Attendees can sign up for one of three 1-hour 30 min sessions featuring:
- 🌹Manga Spotlight: Ouran High School Host Club
- 📚 Open Forum: A prievew of upcoming shōjo & josei manga
- ✏️ Shōjo Illustration Workshop
Happening at 12:00 PM , 2:00 PM, & 4:00 PM EST
As always, expect plenty of cosplay, prizes, and giveaways throughout the event!
This event is free and open to all ages 14+.
Registration is required to secure a seat in a session.
