Join us for our weekly 'netwalking' sessions in The Queen ELizabeth Olympic Park, to help reduce social isolation, as well as improve health and wellbeing for us mamas. Working in partnership with Mayor of London, London Marathon Foundation & TfL, this isn't simply a walk, but an overdue investment in yourself and an opportunity to meet other local mums. It is a time to ditch the daily tasks and intentionally prioritise YOU.
We welcome women from all walks of life and nationalities for this child-friendly walk followed by FREE light refreshments at the TIMBER LODGE cafe. Do not forget to tell a fellow mama.
Why Walk?
Walking has a multitude of benefits including burning calories, improving heart health, reducing blood sugar and helping mental health. Most importantly it's FREE!
Each session will last 120 mins including a refreshment stop and changing intervals.
Our meeting point is the AQUATIC CENTRE, where there will be a short prelude before we set out on our walk. Please arrive promptly so we can all set off together.
All participants must register so we can maintain COVID-19 safety standards and ensure you are kept up-to-date. Contact details of your walking facilitator for the day will be sent via email a few days prior to the event. In the event the weather is not quite right for walking with children in tow we will send you a Zoom link for us to meet virtually.
