Making a Story: Visual – Ukrainian Folklore Edition

Step into a cinematic storytelling experience inspired by Ukrainian folklore.

We invite you to join this free, artist-led workshop where photography meets narrative, symbolism, and performance. Guided by artist Karolina Kanska, you’ll explore how to build a visual story from concept to final image.

What to expect

This workshop unfolds as a live visual story:

In the first part, we introduce a Ukrainian folkloric witch, brought to life through a professional model, traditional-inspired styling, and symbolic accessories.

In the second part, the narrative evolves — the witch encounters a mythological spirit, inspired by Ukrainian folklore. This transformation creates a new emotional and visual dynamic, allowing you to capture a complete story through your lens.

You’ll have the opportunity to photograph both scenes and interpret the story in your own unique way.
