Discover the Art of Beaded Flower Motifs

Join us for an inspiring hands-on workshop where you'll learn to create beautiful beaded flower motifs influenced by traditional Native American beadwork techniques.

In this welcoming session, you'll be introduced to the fundamentals of bead embroidery as we guide you through creating your own simple yet stunning floral designs. No previous experience is necessary, just bring your curiosity and creativity!

What You'll Learn: Working with seed beads and basic stitching techniques to build flowerss and simple beaded braid, you'll discover how color, pattern, and texture come together to create striking motifs that can be used as jewellery, or applied in your own textile and embroidery projects.

What' you need: We willhave a selection of seed beads available to purchase for a.small fee (less than £5) or you can bring your own Seed beads.

This workshop is perfect for complete beginners, anyone looking to try a new craft, or those with some embroidery experience who want to explore beadwork. We're a friendly, supportive group and welcome crafters of all skill levels.

Our sessions are led by group members with experience and passion for the subject.

We welcome textile enthusiasts of all levels of experience, just bring along a basic sewing kit, embroidery threads, some assorted fabrics and, if you like, a garment to mend!

We also offer an online zoom link to all ticket holders, just in case you can't make it in person - the link will be sent to you with your booking confirmation.
